I wanted to learn how to make a Swift app, and I'd always loved the way the Teenage Engineering TP-7 looks, especially the front. It has a motorized tape reel that spins while it records, and I wanted to build something digital with that same emulator feel.

So this is how I taught myself Swift. It's a little voice recorder that transcribes while you talk, built around that spinning reel.
